    With the increasing number of built-in functions in wireless systems, the demand for small size, low-cost printed circuit antennas is increasing, such as a mobile phone that must support Bluetooth, cellular operation, global positioning system (GPS) and other functions. Several different types of antennas are available for multiple cellular communication bands contained in a device. Due to the high permittivity of ceramic substrate material, the antenna is usually fabricated on ceramic substrate material to reduce the space occupied by antenna. Low cost antenna on ro4350b, a typical laminate from Rogers. For the RF and digital electronic parts of the portable field strength meter under development, the size and space occupied by the antenna made on ro4350b material are the same as those on the ceramic substrate.

    Rogers ro4350b PCB material is a reinforced glass hydrocarbon / ceramic material that can be processed in the same way as low-cost printed circuits are made on FR-4 substrate materials. It has a dielectric constant of 3.48 at 10 GHz, which makes it commonly used in high frequency power amplifier design. The ro4350b laminate has a low coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) along the z-axis, which ensures high stability of multilayer circuits interconnected by metallized via (PTH).
